African American History Challenge held to bring knowledge to students, celebrate rich history

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - An event that organizers say aims to empower and educate students through historical knowledge, the African American History Challenge took place Saturday at the 100 Black Men of Metro St. Louis Building.

The building is named for the organization, whose stated goal is to improve the quality of life in communities and enhance education and economic opportunities for all.
